INTIMACY In to me You see LORD, Into my heart where the truth be told Where pain and sorrow has shattered my soul Where sin, shame lay claim To hidden secrets only You know. In to me You see LORD, Into my inter-most being where Affliction and misery tries to imprison me And where darkness tries to take control It is here where my motives are exposed And where Your illuminating eyes Divides the truth from the lies. Here in the battle field of my mind Where life and death are fought Is where Your WORD takes Captive every deceiving thought. It is here where Your Spirit whispers to me “Come my child, you have been set free, Trust and believe in My Only Son Trust that Calvary’s work is done.” Here in the chambers of my heart, Is where I receive Your mercy And accept Your grace It is here as Your child I take my place. It is here where Your word affirms me, And Your power fills me, Where I’m healed by Your stripes And guided by Your light. Here in the sanctuary of my heart, Where Your Spirit abides, Is where Your blood covers me And where You love me Unconditionally.
