About the Author

Raised during the ’50s and ’60s, the author had little exposure to drugs except alcohol. Then, as a young adult, the author witnessed the onslaught of experimental, mind-altering drugs: first the diet pills to lose weight, then speed to keep you awake, then finally benzos just for fun. In 1991, the author became addicted to Benzedrine and had to be put in intensive rehab to get off of it. This author knows all too well what addiction can do to the mind and soul. Read to see what the next generation of mind-altering drugs is doing to people.
