During the hot summer days Rosie dug holes in the yard, chewed on Marie’s favorite watering can and ran next door to play with her new friend, Bella the bulldog. Whenever the doorbell rang, Rosie had to be the first one to the door to greet their visitors. If there was a bag or a box, Rosie had to stick her whole head inside to check it out. Most of all, Rosie loved to dig around in the dirty laundry pile just to see what she could find. The children began calling her “Nosey Rosie”.

Nosey Rosie is a charming story about a mischievous little black puppy that gets into lots of trouble. Rosie is adopted by a wonderful family who appreciate her for her fun- loving personality. About the Author
Dawn Donovan lives outside Boston with her family and two black labs, Rocket and Rosie. She has always been an avid reader and has owned a bookstore on Cape Cod for many years. Illustrator Pauline Savage www.savagedesignstudio.com Pauline Savage recalls, “As a child I drew and painted constantly. I tried to turn everything into art. . .including the walls of our home.” She has retained that childlike wonder throughout her creative career, and has extraordinary rapport with children. Pauline’s whimsical art work is as rich in light, line, and texture as her natural sciences paintings, botanical illustrations, and pet portraits. Pauline’s body of work includes painting, drawing, and sculptures and can be found in business and private collections internationally. She is a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and the American Society of Botanical Artists.
