R is for remembering precious days, A is for the ache we'll feel always, I is for ideal days gone by, N is for needing the odd little cry, B is for breaking hearts in two, O is for our love for you, W is for wishing you here a while, S is for sadness behind our smile. Now when we see a rainbow up above We know it's you sending us your love.
Teardrops God above did toll his bell with no time for us to say farewell, So instead I cried a teardrop and I placed it on a rose, I watched as the petals very gently closed, The flower did not wilt with the bitterness of my pain It slowly opened up and began to bloom again The edge of its petals were a little frayed But the toughness of the roots and stem had stayed So I picked the rose and placed it in a vase I had Now I water it with teardrops whenever I'm feeling sad Its appearance has not changed it looks like the same old rose, There's only me and the flower knows how very special it is I suppose.
