I am the Christian woman with the baggage. The woman some believe is on the verge of a breakdown or who might blow up at anytime, but thanks be to God for my breakthrough.
So go ahead and talk about my baggage if you wish but you see, the Lord has helped me to pack these bags, and when need be I can pull out just what I need.
Like trusting in the Lord, being patient and waiting upon him, knowing that it is his will and not my own, and enduring until the end. And that is just to name a few of the things that are in my bags. See there are more spiritual gifts inside of me, than there have been trials in my life.
There is faith, hope, peace and joy, and there is love. There is kindness, forgivingness and longsuffering along with humility and humbleness. And yes, I got Jesus’ grace and mercy in these bags too. And what’s amazing is, the more God gives me, the lighter my bags become.
So it is really all about what I choose, or you choose to pull out of your bags. And I choose to pull out those things that God has given to me, those things that have brought me through.

About the Book
"ONE SISTER OF FAITH PACKING UP" a book of Christian short stories and poems that I was inspired to write while going through a storm of trials and tribulations. While writing down some of my thoughts and personal experiences, I began to see myself in the storm, and also my lack of faith. I could see were my trust in God had grown, thank God I knew to call apon him.
Yet I still did not have the faith that I needed to walk away from being bound, trusting and believing that the same God who kept me during those storms, is the same God able to keep me through all the storms in my life.
I thank God for inspiring me to write at an early age. I thank him for the bells that woke me up in the early hours of the morning, so that I would read his word. I thank him because he had plans for my life and I am so glad that God never fails.
About the Author
A Minister's Daughter she resides in New Jersey. Is a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church located in the city of Hackensack and sings with the Cornerstone Inspirational Choir.
She received a certificate in Business from American Business Institute in 1988 and is the Founder of a local gospel singing group "Sister of Faith Singers" of Paterson.
Her first poem "AND SHE DIED" was written after her Mother passed away in 1979.
