The interviews were conducted in many cities and countries and in such places as St. Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park and in television and movie studios in New York and Hollywood, in planes and trains as well as the homes of stars.

About the Author

A graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Tom Mackin served as a correspondent in the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific in World War II and was a newspaper columnist and vice president with the ABC Television Network, where he was in charge of media at seven Olympic Games. .  He lives in Lakewood, N. J.
