Author Center Troubleshooting Guide

If you are having difficulty registering or logging into the AuthorHouse Author Center, please try these possible solutions:

Difficulty with Registration:

-If you received a message stating that the email you entered is not associated with an AuthorHouse author, you should contact AuthorHouse at 888.7AUTHOR and have your email address updated in our author database.

-If you received a message stating that the book ID entered is not associated with the email address provided, you should either contact AuthorHouse to have your email address updated in our author database, or confirm that you are using a valid book ID.

-If you received a message stating that you have entered an invalid password, remember that you must enter a password that is between 8 and 16 characters long.

-If you received a message stating that the passwords do not match, you must type it twice, exactly the same way both times. The password is case-sensitive.

-If you received a message stating that the Challenge Question is not valid, know that your question can be up to 255 characters in length and may contain letters, numbers, and a question mark, a period, an apostrophe, and an exclamation point.

-If you received a message stating that the Challenge Answer is not valid, know that your answer can be up to 255 characters in length and may contain letters, numbers, and a question mark, a period, an apostrophe and an exclamation point. You can attempt to use the forgotten password functionality or you can contact Author Assistance and request a new password be issued.

Difficulty Logging In:

-If you are unable to log in, you should ensure that the email address being entered is the same email you provided during registration. You should contact AuthorHouse and have your email address updated in our database. You can also attempt to use the forgotten password functionality or contact Author Assistance and request that a new password be issued to you.

-Contact a member of the Author Assistance Team at 888.7AUTHOR or authorsupport@authorhouse.com.
