Herb Senft to lead international business growth and launch trade group for AuthorHouse

Bloomington, Ind.—AuthorHouse, a global provider of publishing and marketing services for authors, announced today that Herb Senft, Vice President at AuthorHouse, has been assigned responsibility for driving growth in international markets, including the current UK operation and launching a trade publisher using the Rooftop imprint.

Most recently, Senft was Vice President of Sales for AuthorHouse. During his tenure, AuthorHouse sales tripled. “Herb has been instrumental in helping us become the leader in self-publishing’ said Bryan S. Smith, president and CEO of AuthorHouse. “We believe under his leadership, we can capitalize on even greater opportunities that exist in the international community of authors,” Smith added.

In addition, Senft will have responsibility for Rooftop Publishing, a new imprint that focuses on titles that have a broad appeal in focused markets. “Our catalog of titles will help book buyers find inventory that has both a local or regional appeal and a strong track record for sell through,” said Senft.

“Herb has a keen understanding of author and book seller needs,” Smith commented, “so we’re expecting great things to happen as he focuses on both the burgeoning international market and trade books”.
