AuthorHouse® to introduce new services for authors and agents at BookExpo America

Bloomington, Ind.—AuthorHouse, a global provider of publishing and marketing services for authors, announced today that it will be exhibiting at BookExpo America (BEA) this year utilizing the theme, Writing the Next Chapter in Publishing

While at BEA, AuthorHouse will introduce new services designed to help authors and agents take advantage of new opportunities to self publish, promote and sell books. To help authors build an on-line presence and book sales, AuthorHouse will offer Web sites and blogs that can be updated easily through the AuthorHouse Author Center, rather than working with a third party vendor or wrestling with the technology themselves.  In addition, AuthorHouse will offer a service to update content for authors on their Web sites.

“Our goal is to always provide the best support for authors as they work to accomplish their publishing goals. These Web sites are another example of that commitment,” said Bryan S. Smith, president and CEO of AuthorHouse.

AuthorHouse will also introduce, Agent Advantage, a program to help literary agents find a way to help emerging authors get published and to begin building a platform for publishing success.

BEA takes place May 31 through June 3 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, N.Y. AuthorHouse will exhibit in booth numbers 2069 and 2075.

The annual BEA Conference combines the largest selection of English language titles on the planet with special industry and author events. There are conference sessions put on by BookExpo America (BEA) and the American Bookseller Association (ABA) as well as other industry groups and associations.

AuthorHouse authors, Tina Wesson and Gordon Kirkland, will be signing books in the traditional autograph area on Sunday, June 3. Tina Wesson, former Survivor winner, is the author of Out Live, Out Laugh, Out Love. Gordon Kirkland is an award-winning Canadian humorist and five-time author whose most recent work is entitled I May Be Big But I Didn’t Cause That Solar Eclipse.
