Bob Hammel, Perfect
This year’s NCAA Basketball Championships Final Four have been decided. As those gifted young athletes prepare to challenge for the title, AuthorHouse takes a court-side seat with somebody who has seen it all - legendary sportswriter, Bob Hammel. This Indiana University Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, 17-time Indiana Sportswriter of the Year is also a recipient of basketball writing’s highest honor, the Curt Gowdy Award. His book, Perfect, charts the Hoosiers’ 1975 and 1976 seasons where they went unbeaten for 64 monumental games. Hammel relives all of them as we remember the athletes and coach that created one of sport history’s golden eras.
