About the Author

Justin Miller was raised in Jupiter Florida, a small beach town located in the northern part of Palm Beach County. Growing up by the ocean, Justin developed an innate love for exploring nature and a strong desire to live life to the fullest - though his small-town upbringing never quenched his thirst for a bigger future. As a youth and into adulthood, Justin persevered through many hardships that would later become pivotal character-building moments on his journey to success. Today Justin is an accomplished individual with a legacy spanning military service, firefighting, emergency medical services, and entrepreneurship. As a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Marine Corps, Justin earned top graduate accolades and leadership positions. In firefighting, he rose to the rank of lieutenant and left tangible impacts within his community. Presently, as CEO of his foundation Shadow Defense, he dedicates his talents to helping veterans and first responders overcome life challenges. And as a Public Adjuster, he advocates for people impacted by disaster, helping them regain the financial means to rebuild and recover after destruction ensues. Justin’s experiences have shaped him into an extraordinary individual with a proven track record of achievements and a passion for serving others.
